We're looking to add to our great team!! We are looking for an energetic and experienced service writer. This is a fulltime position. The job duties are as follows:
Provide initial contact for service department in making appointments.
Provide excellent customer service while advising customers in person, by email, and over the phone.
Manage and oversee the service center's workflow and scheduling.
assign service work to appropriate technicians.
Provide customer with in-depth information about available OEM and aftermarket parts options.
Advise customers about warranty protections and cost savings.
Follow warranty processes for filing and funding claims.
Provide continued status updates to customers, e.g., when parts are ordered, additions to work orders, and completion of work.
High school diploma/GED required.
Associates Degree or 2+ years of service advising experience.
Extensive knowledge of Powersports industry/parts/service.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Excellent organizational skills.
ability to communicate effectively with mechanics, customers, and senior management.
Proficient computer skills.
Familiarity with Lightspeed or other service software preferred, but not required.
